Left Luggage in Seoul: How to Use Subway Lockers (T-Locker)

Checkout is at 11:00, your flight is at night, and if your building has no front desk there is nowhere to leave the bags. Seoul's subway lockers cover 273 stations and are paid through an app, so no staffed counter is needed. You only need the app, the price shape, and two warnings.

1. 1Install the T-Locker app

   Search "T-Locker" on the App Store or Google Play. In the app you search a station, see what is free, pick a size, pay, and open the door with a QR code. No staff involved, and you can reserve ahead.

2. 2Sizes and fees (4-hour base)

   These are the city's published 4-hour base rates. S (50×30×60cm) is ₩2,200 on weekdays and ₩3,100 on weekends, then ₩500 per extra hour. M (50×45×60cm) is ₩3,300 / ₩4,600, then ₩800. L (50×90×60cm) is ₩4,400 / ₩6,100, then ₩1,000. The weekend rate is higher — that is the part people miss. A cabin-size roller fits M; a checked suitcase needs L.

3. 3Hours — collect before the last train

   05:00–24:00, the same on weekdays, weekends and holidays. It is tied to subway hours, so after midnight the station is shut and your bag is inside it. For a night flight, plan the pickup into your route to the airport rather than leaving it to chance.

4. 4What not to put in

   Cash and valuables, explosives and flammables, weapons, animals and plants, and medicines are all prohibited. Keep your passport and any medication on you — if the app fails or the station closes, those are the things you cannot afford to have locked away.

5. 5When a locker will not do — counters and delivery

   T-Luggage runs staffed counters at six stations and will also deliver your bags to your destination the same day — useful on a day you change accommodation, or when the bag simply will not fit a locker. For long stays there is T-Storage, rented by the month.
