1Install the right app
Search “CATCHTABLE” and pick the Global (English) app — not the Korean one. Sign up with email, Google or Apple. No Korean phone number needed.
2Know the deposit rule
Popular restaurants charge a no-show deposit at booking. Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and JCB issued abroad are accepted.
3Some places take no bookings at all
Being popular does not mean a restaurant releases booking slots. Geumdwaeji Sikdang, for one, takes no advance reservations at all — only the same-day on-site waitlist. Check each restaurant's page on our site for what actually applies.
4Waitlists work remotely and on site
A place that takes no bookings may still take waitlist entries. You can join the queue remotely from the app and stay nearby instead of standing at the door, and waitlists carry no deposit. Some restaurants register walk-ins through a QR terminal out front, so have the account ready.
